Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Validation Specialist in Palo Alto, CA, to represent clinical users and patients, ensuring high-quality, safe medical devices meet design and use requirements. You will work on-site with some remote allowance, collaborating with Product Management, UX, and Design Engineering to optimize clinical workflows.

The role requires clinical experience in Radiation Oncology and proficiency with ARIA, Eclipse, and Varian systems, with travel up to 25% for validation

Qualifications

• Current clinical certification/registration as a Radiation Therapist with 5 years of clinical experience.
• Degree plus 5 years of Radiation Oncology clinical experience and/or Clinical Applications Specialist experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure validation is complete with objective test evidence before release.
• Discuss clinical practices with PM, UX and Design Eng to define product requirements.
• Provide feedback to improve radiation and oncology product design and devices.
• Support development and maintenance of Oncology Information Systems and Treatment Planning Systems.
• Develop and execute design validation plans to meet requirements.
• Participate in requirements analysis, use-case development, and risk analysis.
• Write test designs, establish traceability to requirements and mitigations.
• Collaborate with Verification, Marketing, UX and PM to resolve usability and scope issues.
• Travel 5–25% to support validation efforts.
