Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare's Radiation Oncology team is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver precise treatments at Mary Washington Hospital Radiation Oncology (MWHRO) and Stafford Hospital Radiation Oncology (SHRO). You will assist with simulation and treatment planning under the Radiation Oncologist’s direction.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program, ARRT certification or eligibility within six months, BLS CPR, and 1–2 years of clinical experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT or eligible within six months of hire.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• One to two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiation treatments to patients per orders with minimal supervision.
• Documents setup instructions and treatment parameters; records daily treatments in ARIA.
• Participates in QA programs to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Performs treatment-related activities including transport, scheduling, and chart checks.
• Performs CT simulations and treatment planning functions as required.
