Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program with active RTT certification.
• Preferred experience with Aria, GE Simulator, Varian TrueBeam, VisionRT, and Epic.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately per physician orders and dosimetry.
• Positions and immobilizes patients on the treatment couch using shielding and equipment.
• Reviews treatment-related documentation prior to each session and escalates discrepancies as needed.
• Monitors patients during treatment and escalates changes in condition to the team.
• Operates linear accelerators and QA checks to verify proper machine function.
• Performs CT simulation and tumor localization to support treatment planning.
• Maintains accurate treatment parameters and records in the EMR with HIPAA compliance.
• Communicates procedures to patients and families with clarity and compassion.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Schedules treatments and manages daily patient flow.
