Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida seeks a Radiation Therapist to provide therapy support per designated treatment plans under the Radiation Oncologist, assisting with HDR/Brachytherapy and operating the Edge linear accelerator.

You'll work with the team to ensure safety, QA procedures, and use Align RT, Sim RT, MAP RT, and Dose RT, with required ARRT licensure and BLS certification; background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Current/active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• Training or competency in HDR/Brachytherapy, Edge linear accelerator, SRS cones, Align RT, Sim RT, MAP RT and Dose RT.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy support based on designated treatment plans under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Support the equipment, technology, software and procedures utilized in the cancer pavilion, including HDR/Brachytherapy, Edge linear accelerator, Stereotactic Radiosurgery Cones and Align Radiation Therapy.
