Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current is required if working in OR, Emergency Department or any Critical Care Unit.
• Unit-specific credentials may be required to be achieved within a specified time frame after hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Utilize the nursing process and the Relationship Based Care Nursing Model in delivering nursing care.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with others to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education and leadership to other members of the patient care team.
