Job summary
Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, part of Central Maine Healthcare, invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Oncology/Infusion Center. You will administer chemotherapy and related medical oncology treatments and educate adult patients with malignancies.
This full-time days position reports to the Clinical Manager for Oncology/Hematology and Cancer Registry Services; requires an active state RN license and BLS, with Oncology certification preferred and BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Oncology/Infusion Center.
- Provides chemotherapy and related medical oncology treatments and education to adult patients with diagnosed malignancies.
- Reports to Clinical Manager for Oncology/Hematology and Cancer Registry Services.
