St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for Radiation Therapy at the Cancer Center on the Ft. Thomas Campus.

The role supports physicians and providers, assisting with patient flow, scheduling, and intake, while ensuring HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance. Shift is 30 hours weekly, mostly 8:00 AM starts, ending between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The position requires MA certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience; familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC) is

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification or state credential.
• BLS certification required within orientation.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting (min 1 year)

Responsibilities

• Register patients at check-in and verify information.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars.
• Handle patient billing and pre-certification processes.
• Retrieve, release or collect medical records as needed.
• Enter data and support patient flow in the unit/department.
