You will participate in patient education, maintain detailed treatment records, and support department quality initiatives while collaborating with the Cancer Services team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT (T) certification required.
• Massachusetts DPH licensure to practice radiation therapy.

Aufgaben

• Applies principles of basic radiation physics interactions and protection.
• Delivers prescribed planned course of radiation therapy treatment.
• Verifies prescription, diagnosis, chart and patient identification.
• Administers physician-ordered topical agents as needed.
• Explains procedures to patients and communicates during treatment.
• Prepares room and equipment according to patient setup.
• Maintains and logs daily treatments in patient records and ARIA/IDX systems.
• Participates in QA programs for treatment delivery and safety.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and licensure documentation.
• Mentors RTT students and participates in education activities.
