Responsabilidades

• Inform patients they will receive ionizing radiation per prescription and oncology instruction.
• Verify informed consent and patient identity via verbal and visual checks.
• Check daily treatment calculations and prepare treatment room for each patient.
• Maintain patient comfort, accurate positioning, and charting of daily doses.
• Ensure radiation safety, monitor equipment, and report irregularities to supervisors.
• Assist in tumor localization, immobilization, and dosimetry procedures as needed.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and orient new staff to procedures.
