Job Summary And Qualifications

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients.
• Verify prescribed treatment dose before treatment, verify fields to be treated and angles to be used.
• Assure placement of protective devices to shield otherwise healthy exposed tissue of patients.
• Place and immobilize patient to ensure accurate treatment.
• Maintain constant visual and intercom contact with the patient during treatment to assure patient remains in the proper position.
• Observe patient for unusual reaction and report any abnormal conditions to the radiation oncologist.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-T) Radiation Therapy.
• Associate Degree.
