The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando

The role you’ll contribute:

The Radiation Therapist is a registered and licensed professional responsible for administering therapeutic radiation according to the physician's prescription to specific patient groups. The therapist actively participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Verifies the physician’s prescription and treatment parameters daily to ensure accurate treatment, and positions the patient consistently
• Assesses patient needs, resolves potential issues, and communicates effectively with patients of all ages
• Performs CT Simulation, administers contrast agents during localization under physician’s direction, and reports adverse reactions promptly
• Evaluates prescribed imaging, makes necessary adjustments within 24 hours, and documents all treatment information accurately
