CARTI is seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer, simulate, and record prescribed radiation treatments. The role includes imaging tumor volumes, outlining targets on a patient, and performing QA on treatment and simulator/CT machines to ensure high-quality therapy.

Responsibilities include setup preparation, monitor unit calculations, chart accuracy, and daily patient treatment scheduling, with emphasis on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program of radiation therapy technology.
• Current registration as a radiation therapist by the ARRT or registry eligible with a passing score within 360 days of employment.
• Current licensure as a Radiation Therapist with the Arkansas Department of Health.
• BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiation therapy procedures according to physician's orders and department guidelines.
• Calculates monitor units and records treatment information in patient charts.
• Conducts daily warm-up, start-up, quality control checks and notifies when equipment malfunctions.
• Provides patient and family communication about treatment routines, skin care and field care.
