Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (T) and state licensure (where required).
• CPR certification and current licensure/CE compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or construct immobilization, treatment, or protection devices.
• Position patients for simulation and treatment with accuracy per prescription.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses using therapy equipment per standards.
• Document simulations, treatments and patient care activities in the EMR.
• Perform QA checks on equipment and report issues per policy.
• Educate and reassure patients and families about treatments and side effects.
• Coordinate patient scheduling to optimize department resources.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in chart rounds.
