Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Prepare the treatment room and equipment; transfer patients to treatment areas; position patients for treatments.
• Check daily treatment parameters; deliver prescribed dosage and maintain treatment records.
• Photographs patients in the treatment position and observe for unusual changes in dosage.
• Maintain supplies for the treatment room.
• Schedule patients for treatment on treatment machines.
