Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree required.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments in accordance with each patient’s prescribed plan of care.
• Guide patients through the treatment process by clearly explaining procedures, answering questions, and helping them feel informed and supported.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, safely assist patients into treatment areas, and position them with precision and comfort.
• Verify daily treatment parameters, administer prescribed radiation doses accurately, and maintain complete treatment records.
• Document patient positioning through imaging and monitor patients for unusual responses or changes throughout treatment.
• Perform tumor localization procedures to support precise, effective treatment delivery.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked treatment room to promote efficient patient care.
• Coordinate patient schedules across treatment machines to support a smooth and timely care experience.
