Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Radiation Therapist at Water Tower Medical Commons to deliver personalized treatment plans and position patients accurately in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.

You will operate and maintain linear accelerators, manage PACS image data with proper lead markers and patient history, and ensure detailed documentation in line with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire date.
• ARRT Radiation Therapist credentialed prior to hire.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credentialed prior to hire.
• Education: High School equivalent with 2 years experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Treatment Delivery: delivers personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists, accurately positioning patients and selecting parameters.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: safely maintains, operates, and adjusts radiation therapy equipment including linear accelerators.
• Quality Assurance & Image Management: ensures accurate data entry and high-quality image submissions to PACS with correct lead markers and patient history.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: maintains comprehensive records of all therapy sessions per standards and regulatory guidelines.
