Inova Health's Fair Oaks Hospital Radiation Oncology team seeks a dedicated Radiation Therapist 2 for a full-time role in Fairfax, VA (3 days/week, 10-hour shifts). Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

The therapist will set up and administer daily radiation treatments, perform simulations, verify machine functionality, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certification is required.
• Two years of staff therapist experience in Radiation Therapy preferred.
• Certification as ARRT required on start; BLS required on start.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients for initial treatment and verifies setup.
• Verifies beam parameters and blocking per prescriptions.
• Maintains records of daily treatments and corrects charts as needed.
• Performs daily QA on equipment and reports discrepancies.
• Attends trainings and stays current with new technologies.
