Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist for a Full-Time Day shift (3x12-hour shifts) with call and holiday rotation. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are eligible.

Inova is a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience, widely recognized in the DC metro area and beyond. The Radiologic Technologist will demonstrate radiologic principles, protect patients from unnecessary radiation, and support imaging across departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school/program of radiography.
• Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist per state requirements; Inova Health System imaging centers.
• Certification: American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire; Basic Life Support on start.
• Experience: Two years of classroom and clinical radiology training; hospital/healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment in fluoroscopy, trauma, ED and OR settings.
• Assist in teaching radiography students with fundamental radiography principles.
• Obtain patient history and informed consent; explain procedures to patients.
