Job summary

AdventHealth in Marion, North Carolina is seeking a Radiation Therapist to evaluate imaging, verify treatment parameters, and perform QA duties. The role includes on-site scheduling, CT simulation, and education for students, with after-hours on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Registered Technologist – Therapy (R.T.(T)(ARRT)) certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates prescribed imaging and makes changes within 24 hours, documenting treatment in the EHR.
• Reviews new starts for consistency, verifies patient positioning and treatment parameters.
• Performs morning QA on treatment unit and reports malfunctions.
• Assist in maintaining supplies and supervise student education experiences.
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as needed; perform 2D treatment calculations.
