Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System seeks a Radiation Oncology Therapist to administer prescribed radiation treatments under the Radiation Oncologist's guidance. You will schedule simulations, manage treatment appointments, and ensure accurate billing coding while monitoring equipment performance.

Must be ARRT registered or eligible, graduate from an AMA approved program with a one-year certificate in Radiation Therapy, and hold a current AHA CPR certification.

Job Summary: The Radiation Oncology Therapist is responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients under the direction of the Radiation oncologist. Must accurately administer radiation to patients per physician's prescription, using information from patients' chart. Schedules simulation and treatment appointments and is responsible for coding patient charges with proper billing codes. Maintains and monitors equipment performance including simulator, treatment machines, film processor; and notifies appropriate supervisor as to any improprieties.
