Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a Days/FLEX on-site role in Ithaca, NY. You will work with an oncology team to deliver precise radiation treatments, ensure patient comfort and safety, and monitor responses throughout the treatment course.

The position requires NYS L.R.T licensure and ARRT certification, with a preference for 1 year of patient-facing experience. Excellent benefits, competitive pay, and direct hire are offered, with a Days FLEX schedule and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal radiation oncology technology program with ARRT certification.
• Current New York State License (L.R.T) required.
• 1 year experience in radiation therapy is preferred.
• Licensure: ARRT certification

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized radiation therapy treatments in consultation with oncology team.
• Explain the process to patients and answer questions.
• Assess patient reactions and advise on side effects and relief methods.
• Operate imaging and treatment equipment safely and effectively.
• Collect and manage relevant patient information.
• Assist with patient positioning using masks and immobilization devices.
• Ensure safety protocols for patient, family and staff are followed.
• Perform QA tests on simulation and treatment machines.
• Schedule patient visits to follow the treatment plan.
