Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a Forbes-listed hospital in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week, day shift, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualified candidates will have completed an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy Program, hold an Ohio LRTT license, and possess at least 2 years of experience. Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Licensed in the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT).
• At least 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy and Aria strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer photon and electron radiation and assist in brachytherapy under the radiation oncologist's direction.
• Perform simulations, construct shielding blocks, document duties, participate in QA activities.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescription and oncologist instructions.
• Perform simulations in preparation of treatments.
• Use documentation to verify patient treatments and orders followed.
• Assist in assessing patient needs and providing education to patients and families.
