Job summary

Urology Clinics Of North Texas is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver ionizing radiation per physician prescriptions at our Dallas facility. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and strong patient communication skills.

Responsibilities include treatment setup, chart accuracy in ARIA, daily QA on Linac and CT, safety compliance, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and physicists to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Associate or a Bachelor’s Degree Program in Radiation Therapy.
• Must have completed 12-month certificate program in Radiation Therapy
• ARRT certification is required for practice
• Texas CMRT license or eligible licensure is required
• BLS and AED certifications are required or current

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of radiation treatment processes, including accuracy of treatment chart and ARIA documentation.
• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy under physician and physicist supervision.
• Ensure safety by following ALARA and HIPAA policies; observe and report patient condition.
• Prepare treatment room and equipment and assist in patient positioning.
• Perform daily and weekly QA on Linac and CT; coordinate service with engineers.
