Job summary

Urology-Clinics-of-North-Texas is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver ionizing radiation per prescription under the Radiation Oncologist and Physicist supervision. You will maintain treatment charts, perform QA, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification, Texas licensure, and familiarity with ARIA and Eclipse; BLS and AED are preferred. The position emphasizes ALARA and teamwork in a high-safety environment.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Associate or a Bachelor’s Degree Program in Radiation Therapy.
• Must have completed 12-month certificate program in Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT certification required and Texas licensure.
• CMRT in Texas preferred and BLS/AED required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy with accuracy under supervision.
• Prepare room and equipment for patient according to physician instructions.
• Maintain treatment chart accuracy including patient identity and prescription.
• Perform daily QA on Linac and CT and record results.
• Assist in scheduling patients and CPT charges as needed.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety policies and Universal Precautions.
