Job summary

The Hospital Sisters Health System in O'Fallon, IL, seeks a Radiation Therapist to simulate and administer radiation therapy using a CT scanner and linear accelerator, following prescriptions from a Radiation Oncologist.

Required qualifications include an Associate degree in Radiation Therapy (or equivalent), BLS within 30 days, ARRT eligibility, and at least one year of experience; Illinois IEMA certification is required. On-site role with a 40-hour week and comprehensive benefits.

$34.21 - $51.31 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications

• Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• IEMA-Radiation Therapy (Illinois Emergency Management Association) is required in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT registered in radiation therapy or successful completion of a Radiation Therapy program and eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy as defined by the American Registration of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Colleague must complete and pass a certification and registration exam in accordance with the eligibility requirements of ARRT within one year of hire.
