This part-time position involves the simulation and administration of radiation therapy using a CT scanner and linear accelerator, following the prescription of a radiation oncologist.

Position Specifics: o Department: Radiation/Oncology o Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep o Schedule: PRN o Facility: O'Fallon Cancer Center o Location: O’Fallon, IL**Education Qualifications*** Associates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.* Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.* Associates Degree required for those graduating from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.**Experience Qualifications*** One year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** IEMA-Radiation Therapy (Illinois Emergency Management Association) is required in Illinois.* Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.* ARRT registered in radiation therapy or successful completion of a Radiation Therapy program and eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy as defined by the American Registration of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
