Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) invites applications for a PRN Radiologic Technologist at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL. The role supports imaging services across age groups using X-ray equipment and related systems, with compensation aligned to experience.

Ideal candidates will have a radiology program credential, BLS, and ARRT RT(R) certification with IL/IEMA accreditation. New grads welcome; one year experience preferred. PRN schedule offers flexibility and variety.

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in radiologic technology required or completed accredited radiology program.
  • 1 year experience preferred.
  • ARRT RT(R) certification and IL/IEMA accreditation required or must be obtained within 12 months.
  • BLS certification required.

Job description

Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to work between St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads welcomed to apply.

Education Qualifications

Bachelors or Associates degree is required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Experience Qualifications

1 year experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • WI: Licensed Radiographer issued by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is required.
  • IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology issued by the IL Department of Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is required.
  • Certification/registration or registry-eligible as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Certification/registration must be obtained within 12 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
