Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (T).
• State licensed where required.
• CPR certified.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer literacy including EMR and standard applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare immobilization, treatment, or protection devices.
• Position patients for simulation and treatment with accuracy.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses per protocol.
• Document simulations and treatments in the EMR.
• Check equipment and perform QA per policy.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles.
