Job summary

Asante’s Heimann Cancer Center in Medford, OR seeks a Radiation Therapist to perform radiotherapy treatments and simulations under supervision, contributing to a state-of-the-art cancer center. You’ll work with TrueBeam and Radixact/Tomotherapy systems, collaborating with physicians and nurses to ensure consistent patient care.

Required OBMI Radiation Therapy licensure with ARRT(T) certification, and BLS; prior knowledge of radiation physics and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of theory, practices, procedures, and equipment used in the field of radiation oncology is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and treat patients while building supportive, nurturing relationships.
• Provide accurate and precise delivery of radiation in a dynamic teamwork‑favored atmosphere.
• Coordinate patient care with Radiation Oncologists and nursing staff.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of radiation, its effects, and safe delivery using a linear accelerator and Tomotherapy unit.
• Acquire patient data using a CT scanner and build positioning devices with dosimetrists.
