Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• 3 years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
• Assist in the simulation process using x-rays and CT.

Description

Utilizes his/her technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. The simulation process may involve using x-rays and computerized tomography (CT), fabrication of immobilization devices and assisting physicians with placement of localization devices.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a radiation therapy technology program, accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• 3 years Clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Accuray Cyberknife linear accelerator and Mosaiq oncology management system.
