Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program required.
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by oncologists.
  • Travel to multiple clinic sites and float as needed.

Job description

Description

Utilizes his/her technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Travels to multiple clinic sites on a regular basis, sometimes working at more than one clinic per day. Has a car, or other suitable mode of transportation, to travel between clinic sites. This position is expected to perform work at any Swedish radiation oncology facility either on a prescheduled basis or by floating.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a radiation therapy technology program, accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • 1 year as a Registered Technologist, certified in Radiation Therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Elekta linear accelerators and Mosaiq oncology management system.
