Job summary

AVA Search Group, LLC is seeking a Radiation Therapist for the Valencia/Santa Clarita area, about 40 minutes northwest of the downtown Los Angeles. You will deliver and record radiation treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a Radiation Therapy program with CA license and ARRT; new graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for clinical instruction and growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiation Therapy program.
• CA license and ARRT required.
• New graduates and experienced candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record. Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
• Make accurate custom molds.
• Completes simple mu calculations accurately.
• Interpret a computerized treatment plan.
