Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide discernible leadership to therapist staff regarding maintaining department quality expectations and customer service.
• Provide daily treatments for cancer patients.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for daily treatment dose delivery in a safe and effective manner.
• Document necessary and verifiable information pertaining to daily treatments.
• Formally address patient concerns.
• Maintain a neat and orderly assigned work area.

Position Overview

Radiation Therapist II – Full‑time, 8‑hour day shift. Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105. Pay range: $54.84 – $83.63 per hour, with additional compensation opportunities. This role provides daily radiation treatments to cancer patients under limited supervision and as assigned by the Physicist, Chief Therapist or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide discernible leadership to therapist staff regarding maintaining department quality expectations and customer service.
• Provide daily treatments for cancer patients.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for daily treatment dose delivery in a safe and effective manner.
• Document necessary and verifiable information pertaining to daily treatments.
• Formally address patient concerns.
• Maintain a neat and orderly assigned work area.

Education & Experience

• Associate's Degree or Graduate from an approved AMA school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in the area to be assigned.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Preferred: Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Fluoroscopy Permit issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

Skills

• Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, linear accelerators, simulator, treatment planning and equipment, body mechanics, isolation procedures, and standard precautions.

This position may require flexibility of hours.
