Responsibilities

• Administer radiation to specific body parts as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Ensure proper patient positioning to guarantee accurate treatment delivery.
• Follow all principles of radiation protection for patient, staff, and self.
• Review and verify patient charts for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and perform daily quality assurance tests on radiation machines.
• Fabricate and use immobilization devices as needed.
• Counsel patients and monitor side effects, ensuring safety throughout treatment.

Radiation Therapist

Hours: M-F, 8am-4pm
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Position Overview:
Radiation Therapists are responsible for delivering high-quality radiation treatments as prescribed by our Radiation Oncologists. This role plays a vital part in our commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

In This Role, You Will:

• Administer radiation to specific body parts as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
