Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Radiation Therapist to operate CT simulators, deliver, verify and record treatment courses under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.

You will contribute to machine warm-ups, shift accountability, and effective communication with patients and the care team, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role supports a collaborative oncology team in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field required.
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.

Scope of work

Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, uses clinical skills to accurately run CT simulators, deliver, verify and record routine courses of treatment. Assumes shift accountability including machine warm-ups. Utilizes independent judgment and problem solving skills in communicating with patients/families and employees.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field Preferred CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 60 Days required Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross required within first 90 days
