Job summary

Constellation is seeking a qualified Radiological Control Technician for an on-site role in Pottstown, PA. The candidate will manage access for radiologically controlled areas, monitor radiation, operate protection equipment, and coordinate with teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and/or an associate degree in Radiation Protection or Health Physics, with Navy Nuclear or industry experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in Radiation Protection, Health Physics or related field is preferred.
• Experience or certification in nuclear radiological protection is valued.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure radiation and contamination levels and record radiological data.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain radiation protection equipment.
• Provide radiological support and oversight through briefings and surveys.
• Provide training and oversight to other personnel and leads work crews.
• Monitor and maintain records of personnel exposure to radiation.
• Process personnel dosimetry including issuance and return.
• Collect data, run tests, and prepare reports.
• Perform decontamination and related radiological activities.
• Respond to emergencies as assigned by the Company.
