Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an RP Technician.
• Senior ("responsible") technician per ANSI N18.1-1971.
• One year of technical training preferred.
• Capable of qualifying for Fire Brigade duties (Monticello).
• Current industry standard qualifications (EPRI STEs) strongly desired.
• AS or higher in Health Physics or applicable science desired.
• Navy ELT experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiation surveys supporting plant operations and maintenance.
• Plan and conduct radiological work during online and shutdown activities; provide ALARA coverage.
• Use Sentinel, SAP and other software for dose estimation, tracking and reporting.
• Conduct general radiation and contamination surveys to meet surveillance schedules.
• Handle radioactive sources and perform meter calibrations to maintain readiness.
• Perform other duties to support business unit objectives.
