Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced RN Oncology to join our team on a day-shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm). You will perform admissions assessments, coordinate care, and administer treatments within a comprehensive cancer program.

Qualifications

• RN with Oncology experience required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Radiation Oncology clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents procedures per department policy.
• Obtains nursing history and admissions assessments, including pain screening.
• Evaluates patient behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms.
• Conducts follow-up assessments and educates patients.
• Administers treatments, verifies orders, and assesses interventions.
• Responds to clinical emergencies and ensures patient safety.
