Job summary

UCSF is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Radiation Oncology to provide skilled and comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients. The RN works under the supervision of the Administrative Nurse or Charge Nurse and collaborates with the medical team to plan and coordinate patient care across consult, treatment, and follow-up visits.

Responsibilities include adherence to departmental policies, supporting ancillary staff, and orientation of new personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN oncology experience within past 3–5 years.
• Minimum 2 years inpatient RN experience.
• Radiation Oncology RN experience in last 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to radiation oncology patients.
• Coordinate patient care with the health care team.
• Supervise ancillary nursing personnel under supervision of AN/Charge Nurse.
• Travel between UCSF Radiation Oncology sites as needed.
