Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse in Worcester, MA. The role delivers direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge in a Radiation Oncology setting.

Requires MA RN licensure with chemotherapy immunotherapy certification and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required in certain units. BSN preferred and ONCC certification for the unit is a plus. Signing bonus may be available during interview process.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification required.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• ONCC certification applicable to specific unit.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the unit.
• Delegates appropriately to others per job description and competency.
