Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Boulder seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to support the radiation oncology practice. Salary range is $37.00-46.00 per hour, with pay based on education, experience and certification.

Requirements include RN license with current board registration, BLS certification, and at least two years of nursing experience (oncology preferred). Responsibilities include imaging assistance, patient intake, education on treatments, and coordination with the Rad Onc team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current State Board registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging studies and patient records.
• Assist with new patient paperwork at consult.
• Document nursing assessments and medication lists in the chart.
• Educate patients regarding radiation treatments.
• Document pain, fatigue and vital signs for quality measures.
• Follow up on ordered studies and coordinate with Rad Onc team.
• Triage patient phone calls and update chart accordingly.
• Complete disability/FMLA paperwork as needed.
