Qualifications

• Completion of a CAMPEP-accredited medical physics residency program is required.
• Master’s Degree in Medical Physics is required.
• Knowledge of treatment units and simulators and awareness of treatment unit’s limitations in clinical situations.
• Knowledge of record and verify and radiation oncology electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs delivery of non-standard, standard and complicated treatment planning and techniques.
• Calibrates therapy machines, measures beam data for planning; leads troubleshooting with Medical Engineers.
• Performs radiation surveys of patients and treatment rooms; ensures QA on equipment.
