Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a qualified Medical Dosimetrist to plan isodose distributions and determine optimal treatment techniques. You will work with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to deliver prescribed doses and support the broader radiation therapy program.

The role requires a dosimetry background, CMD certification on hire, and hands-on experience with RayStation and Mosaiq, within a major Pacific Northwest health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Science or equivalent with 2+ years clinical dosimetry experience.
• On-the-job dosimetry training under supervision with 3 years clinical experience, or CMD holders before 2011 may substitute ARRT registry.
• National Certified Medical Dosimetrist required upon hire.
• Experience with RayStation and Mosaiq systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs isodose treatment planning by computer/manual computation to deliver prescribed dose.
• Collaborates with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicist to optimize treatment technique.
• Interfaces with information services and applies computer systems related to Radiation Therapy.
