Qualifications

• Nursing degree with NP preparation or PA program and board certification.
• Current North Carolina NP/PA licenses and national certification.
• Active RN license in North Carolina and related post-graduate credentials.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self, and others.
• Performs a complete evaluation on new patients and consults.
• Performs focused history, chief complaint for follow-up patient visits.
• Formulates new and modifies current health management plan.
• Evaluates and reevaluates patient’s condition and makes recommendations accordingly.
• Prescribes medications.
• Educates and counsels.
• Maintains medical records and completes EHR documentation.
• Coordination of care and patient referrals as needed.
• Supervises tests and manages patient care requirements.
• Works with Heart Center providers and ensures ongoing professional development.
