Job summary

WellSpan Health in Lewisburg, PA seeks a Radiation Oncologist to join a community-based cancer program with strong multidisciplinary support. The role offers autonomy within a single-physician Radiation Oncology practice, with on-site facilities and ongoing investment in technology, including a new LINAC and proton therapy access.

Ideal candidates are board eligible/certified in Radiation Oncology, with residency training and a desire to contribute to a growing cancer center and academic

Qualifications

• Board eligible/certified in Radiation Oncology preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency with appropriate training in radiation therapy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous Radiation Oncology care within a community-based cancer program.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team and participate in system call rotation.
• Contribute to growth and development of Radiation Oncology services at the cancer center.
• Engage with proton therapy access and potential cross-institution collaboration.

• Join a community-based cancer program serving a growing patient population.
• Opportunity to practice in a single-physician Radiation Oncology practice, providing a high degree of autonomy and impact, while enjoying the support of a multi-physician group
• Anticipated start date: May 2027.
• Practice will be located within our newly renovated Cancer Center.
• Significant investment in technology, including the purchase of a new Linear Accelerator (LINAC).
• Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team with two Medical Oncologists on-site.
• Opportunity to help shape and grow Radiation Oncology services within an expanding cancer program.
• Participate in system call rotation.
• Opportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine
• Access to proton therapy, including a visiting faculty appointment through a partnership with the Maryland Proton Treatment Center

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Work Experience:

• Experience obtained during residency. Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:
