Job summary

WellSpan Health in Chambersburg, PA, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Medical Oncologist for a full-time, day-shift role in our Summit Health Center location. The practice is largely outpatient, with strong hospitalist support and a culture of collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will have opportunities for clinical trials, research, and quality improvement initiatives, plus professional growth through WellSpan and our Johns Hopkins Medicine partnership.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board certification/eligibility in Hematology-Oncology preferred.
• Diplomate of ABIM or AOBIM; fellowship in Hematology-Oncology; active Medical Staff eligibility at Gettysburg Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient clinical role with supportive hospitalist team.
• Participate in tumor boards, research projects, and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with radiation oncology, breast surgery, thoracic surgery, and surgical oncology teams.
• Engage in academic advancement opportunities through WellSpan and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
• Certification of Added Competency in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
