Job summary

WellSpan Health in Lewisburg, PA seeks a Radiation Oncologist for a full-time role in a growing community cancer program. Join a single-physician Radiation Oncology practice with a high degree of autonomy and support from a multi-physician group.

Anticipated start date is May 2027. The Cancer Center will be renovated and equipped with a new LINAC; access to proton therapy via a Maryland Proton Treatment Center partnership, with opportunities for academic collaboration and career growth.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Experience in a community-based cancer program is preferred.
• Strong commitment to growth of a new cancer center.

• Significant investment in technology, including the purchase of a new Linear Accelerator (LINAC).
• Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team with two Medical Oncologists on-site.
• Opportunity to help shape and grow Radiation Oncology services within an expanding cancer program.
• Participate in system call rotation.
• Opportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine
• Access to proton therapy, including a visiting faculty appointment through a partnership with the Maryland Proton Treatment Center
