Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Radiation Engineer to derive radiation environments for mission profiles and apply those parameters to electronic parts selection and test plans. The role supports 100% onsite work at one of the listed locations.

The candidate will assess TID/SEE, assist with parts evaluation, and develop test setups, coordinating with Program, Product, and Systems engineering to deliver robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Topical knowledge of radiation environments for TID, Displacement Damage, SEE.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Derive radiation environments for mission profiles using CREME96, OMERE, SPENVIS or similar tools.
• Evaluate customer radiation requirements for TID, Total Ionizing Dose and SEE.
• Assist with evaluation of electronic parts for new and existing designs.
• Develop test plans.
• Coordinate test hardware procurement.
• Support with results and analysis for engineering teams.
