Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work statement
  • Topical knowledge of radiation environments for TID, Displacement Damage, SEE
  • Topical knowledge of radiation effects on microelectronics
  • Ability to read and analyze schematics
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Derive radiation environments for specific mission profiles using CREME96, OMERE, SPENVIS or similar tools
  • Evaluate customer radiation requirements for TID, Total Ionizing Dose and SEE
  • Assist with evaluation of electronic parts for new and existing designs
  • Develop test plans
  • Assist with construction of test setups
  • Test harness design
  • Coordinate test hardware procurement
  • Coordinate with TID & SEE results
  • Support Program, Product, and Systems engineering with results and analysis
