Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to drive development and deployment of software tooling for space environments, focusing on analysis and hardware test tooling. Generative AI for data analysis is a major plus, and passion for our mission is required.

You will define and update hardware integration test code, build libraries, optimize test code, and participate in demos using LabVIEW and Python. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or EE with relevant project experience.
• 2+ years of software development for test systems (LabVIEW/Python) including OO design and test automation.
• Experience designing hardware drivers and automation for test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define and update hardware integration test code for test hardware.
• Build on common software architecture; write libraries and optimize test code.
• Demonstrate test frameworks; develop user interfaces and MBSE tooling.
• Drive use of test systems during tests at external facilities.
• Collaborate with analysis/test engineers to improve software quality.
